Recently I was contacted to work on a number of website banners for an extremely awesome Etsy store; Gaia Crafting. I was asked to keep the design fairly simple, as the website banners printed on her receipts as well. Additionally, the designs should utilize some of her products in the design.
Working within these limitations I noted very quickly the comical nature of her Etsy site and latched onto this humor. Though my first designs still offered her a few different designs to look at for the sake of having options.
Her response was wonderful and we quickly moved forward on the last design submission I sent her (seen above as last image). With this humorous take in mind, my work was cut out for me. Next, she was looking for a Facebook banner, but within the same design principles we established on Etsy.
This project is still ongoing, as she's looking to have her Tumblr updated with a new banner as well. So look forward to a follow up Blog post soon!
