It may not seem like much progress was made since yesterday's update. But in fact I managed to replace the black panels, correcting the issues I was facing previously. They look pretty sharp now!
I managed to put a lot of work into one of the remaining sections, leaving me with just three more before I'm finished. It's been a lot of work honestly, but it's really coming together nicely now.
Last but not least, I made the outer edges a bit smaller; they were a bit thick previously. Poly count is currently around 89,000 and I expect it to double to around 180,000 per wing when finished.
